SCOTT PILGRIM vs. the WORLD is…SUCH AN AWESOME MOVIE!!!
I don’t even know where to begin! The effects? The soundtrack? The video game theme? The fight scenes? The storyline? IT WAS ALL AMAZING!
I loved EVERY minute of it! It was funny. It was quirky. It was action-packed. It was romantic.
Love. Love. Love. Love. LOVE.

This movie is your typical romantic comedy BUT it was one geared towards men and women. [Most romantic comedies are geared toward women… hence the whole “chick flick” label] This is a movie you can DEFINITELY enjoy with your significant other [although I did not have a significant other to enjoy it with].
You get to see the opposite sex’s views on attraction, romance and sex. Gerard Butler’s character really plays into the whole manly man, “I can get any woman I want” stereotype. His character’s theories on relationships were quite insightful.
This movie did NOT disappoint me at all. I enjoyed it so much because it went out of the whole romantic movie stereotype.
A must watch as well… :)

Don’t let that smile fool you. NO SIR.[I decided to use this picture because the poster scares me]
This movie was not your typical problem “child” movie. TRUST ME. [If you’ve seen this movie, then you know why I put the word child in quotations] I downloaded this movie months ago & I must say…
For a horror movie/thriller, I really enjoyed this movie [and I hardly enjoy movies like this]. You would think that the storyline is predictable but it took a surprising turn. Esther is REALLY not what she seems [and I’m not talking about the “Look at how innocent I am” thing]. It was one of those movies that makes the viewer go “Wait… WHAT?!”

“Prepare to suck the cock of karma!”
— Ken Jeong in “Pineapple Express”

I’ve never smoked weed before so I don’t know what it feels like to be high…
… & after watching this movie, I don’t think I want to know.
Honestly, this movie WAS funny (at times) but it really didn’t appeal to me and I feel like the ending could have been so much better. It was nice to see Bobby Lee in the movie. I haven’t seen him since Mad TV. James Franco was HILARIOUS! Seeing Ken Jeong was fun too. I missed Mr. Chow! hehe [just in case if you don’t get that reference, watch “The Hangover”]. And what was up with that guy getting shot so many times but NOT dying? Like, WTF? Can you be realistic? Was the writer high when he wrote the script for this?
Scratch that… HE PROBABLY WAS. -__-
This movie was BLEH for me. ‘tis all.

I’ve had this movie for MONTHS but I FINALLY watched it today.
I must say that I was delighted to see some of my favorite actors all in one movie: Leonardo DiCaprio (my first crush LOL), Ellen Page & Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
This movie really drives the viewer to really think about life and dreams.
Imagine if life was really like this? Imagine if we were just projections in someone’s dream? Imagine… our lives being a dream within a dream within a dream within a dream.
The movie’s special effects were AMAZING. The acting was AMAZING. The storyline was AMAZING!
This movie is definitely a must watch!

I also watched this movie today.
I really enjoyed it. It was quirky and fun and sexy. I guess what made me love this movie more was the fact that I’m a hopeless romantic and I was really rooting for Garrett (played by Justin Long) & Erin’s (played by Drew Barrymore) relationship to endure and keep on “going the distance.”
One of my favorite scenes from the movie is where he goes to surprise her at work.

Garrett: I’m not going to order anything - I want you to know - but I got a tip for you…Erin: Is it the tip of your penis?Garrett: No. Gross. … Yes, it is.Erin: Ahh! Oh my God!Garrett: 20% of my dick.

This movie was funny and inspiring. You don’t have to be a hopeless romantic (like me) to enjoy it :)

I just watched this movie today because DIRECTV had a free trial of HBO.
I must say…
For a 21 year-old, I really enjoyed this movie! It was quite funny. I enjoyed the storyline. I could really relate to the whole concepts of finding yourself, trying to fit in as you get older, and trying to renew a friendship that has been ruined.
My only critique of the movie is the whole slice of cheese on the ground thing. There is no way cheese can last for THAT long when exposed to the elements. Just saying.

If you have TFC, you have probably seen the commerical for the movie PLENTY of times.
I saw this movie last Saturday & I must say…
I prefer the duo of Gerald + Sarah to that of Gerald + Kim. I can’t tolerate Kim Chiu’s acting lately. Maybe I’m tired of the whole Kimerald tandem because I’ve watched every movie & teleserye they’ve been together in.
Anywho… this movie was very pleasant! There was never a dull moment in this movie. It was very funny and enjoyable.
Some thoughts on this movie:
1. Gerald Anderson was quite pleasurable to watch (as always). <32. The scene with him & Sarah at the Manila Hotel during a formal event almost drove me to tears. 3. What really made the movie pleasant was the fact that I can REALLY relate to Sarah Geronimo’s character and how she lives on the belief that the right one will come at the right time because “true love waits.”

moviestrip:

In Tokyo, when fifty-four high-school students commit a collective suicide, jumping from a platform in Shinjuku Station, the police force leaded by Detective Kuroda has no clue to follow. Then he receives an e-mail from a young woman, The Bat, advising that there is a site where red dots mean the number of persons that died. Kuroda and his team investigate the deaths going nowhere.
I loved how deep the mind of the writers of this movie are but the story was too deep for me to understand. I didn’t get the ending. So the suicides are over? Dessert is gone? I DIDN’T GET IT.

I decided to reblog this from gelalalove’s movie review blog.
I just saw this movie tonight & I must say it is quite interesting but I did not like the ending. It was an ending that left viewers with a ”That’s it?!” reaction.
Oh and effin subliminal messages! >_< The whole Dessert thing made me think of how subliminal messages tied into the story line of the 2001 movie “Josie and the Pussycats” starring Rachael Leigh Cook.
Oh Japanese people and the creepy & gory movies they make…
